Our client is a Vancouver, B.C., Canada, based technology start-up company that is commercializing innovative exhaust emission control solutions for the diesel engine industry. This is a fast growing company with solid financing and an exciting work environment. Their initial focus is the application of their novel hydrogen generating fuel reformer technology to drastically improve the durability and cost performance of Lean NOx Traps enabling diesel engine manufacturers to meet U.S. EPA 2010 regulations while simultaneously reducing fuel consumption without the need of creating a nation-wide urea infrastructure.

Project Engineer - Vehicle Field Trials
- Experience performing field trails to validate new component designs.
- Ideally the person's engineering experience would be in the area of exhaust system components or engine system components, but other areas are acceptable.
- Integration of components to field trails through to PPAP.
- Experience with data acquisition equipment, emissions monitoring instruments will be beneficial.

Systems Engineer - Vehicle After-Treatment
- Solid project management and System Engineering experience in a product development environment.
- Five to fifteen years of appropriate experience.
- Ideally the candidate would have strong experience creating models of the chemical and thermal processes associated with diesel engines and catalytic after-treatment systems such as Lean NOx Traps, DPFs and DOCs as well as modeling of thermal transients associated with such systems.
- An understanding of the mechanical issues involved in integrating components onto vehicles such as heavy duty trucks will be beneficial.
- Experience with software such as Hysys, VMG Sim and Comsol is a strong asset.
- Experience in a highly structured engineering process environment.
